The Doomed Society

The Doomed Society
By Stephen J. Gray

In the doomed society they killed their young by abortion and called the depraved act a “choice.”
There was a motion in parliament to discuss, “when life begins,” but many politicians and political parties, some trade union leaders and others, including some in the medical community were dedicated to opposing this motion on “when life begins.” It appeared that this knowledge was not wanted in this so-called “democracy” and some did not want it even discussed. What does that say about them and free speech?
Yet, scientific knowledge that life begins at conception, is reported in medical journals. Now there was a report in a medical journal that asked should “therapeutic homicide,” be performed? What started as killing by “choice” on abortion appeared to be graduating to killing by “choice” on the old, infirm, sick and unwanted?

In the doomed society some people marched in parades of pride. Some were naked and made obscene gestures. Politicians and police chiefs had been known to participate in these parades and thousands gathered to watch. The news media gave pride of place to these parades on TV news and the newspapers gave gushing coverage. One newspaper reported this “parade of pride” as a family friendly affair. Corporate logos could be seen in the parades as were some trade union logos as well.  This was a society where anything goes! Men were “marrying” men and women were “marrying” women. This was called “same-sex marriage” and those who opposed it were called bigots and anti “equality.” Some people were asking if the excesses and madness of Ancient Rome had been re-incarnated to a so-called “civilization?"

In the doomed society the financial system had become corrupted. Thieving and fraud had become “legitimate” by those who were too big and too powerful to fail. Banks were bailed out with tax-payers dollars and taxpayers themselves did not qualify for bailouts. Their role in the scheme of things was to be beasts of burden and to be herded into debt slavery by those who controlled the system. Meanwhile, those who had crashed the system advised governments and told the debt slaves that they must learn to live with less. This was called austerity and it was imposed by the International Moneychangers Fund {IMF) which in turn was financed by the debt slaves’ tax dollars.

In the doomed society endless wars were promoted and approved by “respectable experts” who did not fight, but encouraged others to do their dirty work. The search for enemies was ongoing and constant. Some dictators were classed as “friends” and “allies” while others were described as “pariahs” after being “friends” at one time. Hypocrisy was the forte of the so-called “international community,” and young soldiers died or were maimed and crippled fighting these wars.  Cities and countries along with their civilian populations were decimated. War was good business for the corporate conglomerates, and arms dealers who had been known to supply both sides with weapons. The bloodstained profits were enormous for the elites and the misery of the victims was hell on earth. The war propagandists in the media and the political establishment called the atrocities of war “bringing democracy” and “responsibility to protect.” The language had become perverted in order to promulgate killing and destruction.

In the doomed society ethics, principles and morality had long since vanished. Capitalism and communism had a “strategic partnership.” One political leader received two pandas as a gift on loan. Some people wondered had these two pandas sealed the loss of a country’s sovereignty? Big business courted the communists and other dictators and they also placed profits before patriotism.  Forgetting that old saying, “he who sups with the devil should have a long spoon.”

In the doomed society truth had become lies and lies had become truths. The language had become debased and the written word twisted. Evil was marketed by the “experts” as a “good.” Political and big business propaganda was sold as “creating jobs.” The publicity business and marketers had a field day manipulating messages of support for communist dictators. The “news” was parroted by purveyors of propaganda and the people were lied to and spied on by those in power. Cell phones were bugged and personal computers too, credit cards tracked every purchase and driving licences were chipped. And the words of an old song were coming true: “freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.”

Libor-rating the people

Libor-rating the people
(Satire) By Stephen J. Gray

A speech to the Bankers Banquet by respected banker Mr. Moneybags Mac Scam.

Dear Friends,
Once again we are in the forefront of negative publicity. All because it is claimed we “rigged” the Libor rate. Some are even equating us to gangsters and loan sharking. Which of course is ridiculous, we don’t have people bumped off for not paying their debts. Nor do we participate in illegal banking. All our business ventures are out in the open and sanctioned by governments. If we were involved in any illegality we would all be in jail. Yet, none of us have gone to jail therefore the system must be satisfied with our performances in the world of money. I know some of us have been fined huge amounts of money over money laundering and “financing terrorism” as well as banking drug money for organized crime, but none of us admitted any malfeasance, and we did apologize. Then we just paid up and carried on business like respected bankers do. Our burden is heavy looking after the peoples’ money, yet we get criticized just because we keep the banking system stable. Still, we soldier on despite all the negative publicity and do our work faithfully and honestly to the best of our abilities even though we are being victimised.

Still, I must say it was nice to see one financial columnist say one of our banks was a “victim” in the Libor affair even though it agreed to pay a huge fine.   But hey, money makes the world go around as the saying goes and the central banks always come to our rescue by printing more money should we need it. And let us not forget the backbone of society is the taxpayers. They are always available to bail us out when we need it. Then we lend the taxpayers money from their own money. Is that not “free enterprise” at its finest? So, really it is not good for us to berate ourselves over the so-called Libor “conspiracy.” I prefer to call it good planning. If we did not plan to fix the bank rates properly, who else could do it? Who else has the expertise? Who else advises governments on monetary policy? Who else prints money for governments? Who else keeps the system afloat when it’s taking on rough seas? We do.

Therefore I say to all of you gathered here today at the Bankers Banquet. We feed off the people and the people feed off us. Cheer up. Think positive and carry on as you have always been doing. The system cannot survive without our hands in the money system. The people are in our debt and that’s why I call it Libor-rating them.

Pro-Abortion Trade Unions and Their Unionized Media Brothers and Sisters

Pro-Abortion Trade Unions and Their Unionized Media Brothers and Sisters
By Stephen J. Gray

On May 29, 2012, The New Abortion Caravan Started off its cross Canada tour to show the horrors of abortion in Canada and “End The Killing” with a grisly display in downtown Vancouver at the Art Gallery. Canucks Anthem singer Mark Donnelly sang O Canada at the beginning. [1] One would have thought the “mainstream media” would have covered this story in a very busy downtown Vancouver. But very few did. Missing in action were the big unionized media, Global TV, CTV, and others. The Vancouver Sun and The Province the two biggest newspapers in Vancouver also failed to cover this story, as did the National Post, The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star in Ontario. The CBC later on did a little coverage. Perhaps one should not be surprised at some of the media. The media have been covering up the abused, dismembered and bloody bodies of the aborted children for years; therefore, for them to show the truth of the atrocities would show them up as hypocrites. But hey, other newspapers across Canada are just as guilty of the censorship of abortions victims, and many of them parrot the pro-abortion mantra the same as the trade unions. Does “solidarity forever” remain the battle cry of the unions and their unionized brothers and sisters in the media on support for killing by “choice” on abortion? Are birds of a feather unionized together?

“…Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada. CEP is one of Canada's largest unions, representing just about every type of worker, from coast to coast to coast. We work at pulp and paper mills, telephone companies, in the oil, gas, chemical and mining industries. We are printers, journalists, radio and TV broadcasters, graphic artists, hotel workers, computer programmers, truck drivers, nurses - you name it, CEP members do it....” [2] (emphasis added)

“The Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, the country's largest media union with 25,000 members who work in print, radio, television, film, design and new media,…” [2a]

“The Canadian Media Guild is a democratic trade union representing 6,000 workers in the Canadian media. Our members work at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation/Société Radio-Canada (CBC/SRC), The Canadian Press, Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP), TVO, TFO, the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (aptn), ZoomerMedia, Shaw Media and CKOI Radio Gatineau (Québec). We also represent media freelancers.” [2b]

The supposed watchdog of a free society is a free press, yet many journalists in Canada are in trade unions which are financed by compulsory union dues. Misuse of union time and money has been epidemic across the country for many years. Where is the coverage on all of this by investigative journalists? Many journalists can show corporate connections and conflicts of interest down to the smallest detail, but they are strangely silent when it comes to probing union activities too deeply.

Some journalists were members of the Newspaper Guild 115, which later merged with the Communications, Energy and Paper Workers Union (CEP). The CEP union is one of many unions involving itself in the abortion issue, oops, I mean “right to choose.” A union boss of the CEP had this to say in a news release:

"CEP and many other unions have been at the forefront of the fight to ensure a woman has a right to choose and that governments don't turn back the clock on reproductive rights” -Dave Coles [3]

The Socialist Worker in an article headlined “Anti-choice caravan fails”
named some unions protesting against The New Abortion Caravan it stated: “Unions such as CAW, USW, OPSEU and CUPE were well represented at protests across the country….” [4]

Trade unions are certified for collective bargaining; this has evolved into collective coercion. The union bosses use their member time and money under the banner of trade unionism to support numerous issues unrelated to the workplace, including abortion and abortion clinics.

The B.C. Coalition for Abortion Clinics stated in its brochure that "the B.C. Federation of Labour and the Canadian Labour Congress, along with other labour organizations have long supported women’s right to choice on abortion, free-standing abortion clinics and medicare coverage for abortion."

The BC Federation of Labour (BCFL) is also on record as soliciting funds for abortion clinics. And Ken Georgetti, former President of the BCFL, and now President of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), had this to say in a letter to union members on raising funds for an abortion clinic:

"in a short time, funds have been raised to pay the down payment on the $237,000 medical clinic." He goes on to say "the Executive Council urges all affiliates to send donations, consider loans or monthly pledges...."

Why are union members compelled to pay for this kind of leadership? Is it any wonder union dues keep increasing? The Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics (OCAC) has infiltrated the labour movement; it is stated in the book, “Social Movements, Social Change, The Politics and Practice of Organizing” (funded by our tax dollars) that "at various labour conventions in 1982 and 1983, OCAC activists were involved in garnering support for choice." The book also states that "many unions have contributed financial and material support to OCAC."

And OCAC which has received trade union money was organizing a protest along with the Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW) against The New Abortion Caravan.

“The Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics (OCAC) and the CAW are organizing a peaceful demonstration to meet the anti-choice supporters as they arrive in Toronto.”[5]

The Ontario Federation of Labour has donated money to Canada’s foremost abortionist. In fact, it is stated in the book The Charter of Rights and the Legalization of Politics in Canada by Michael Mandel, page 301, that "...the Ontario Federation of Labour has donated thousands of dollars to the Morgentaler defence. . ."

The Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), at its 2008 convention, gave an award to Morgentaler, Canada’s foremost abortionist.

“Delegates applauded loudly, with many moved to tears, as Dr. Henry Morgentaler was introduced as the 2008 recipient of the CLC Award for Outstanding Service to Humanity” [6]

One wonders, how do union members feel about their dues paying for an award to an abortionist for “Outstanding Service to Humanity”?

Most unions in Canada are affiliated to the CLC and pay affiliation fees as they also do to local Labour Federations. Union members’ compulsory union dues and affiliation fees are supporting all kinds of groups and causes unrelated to the workplace. Union members have different beliefs on social, moral, political, and religious issues. Therefore, they should not be compelled into supporting matters unrelated to the workplace. Right now, they are in fact “indentured servants” as one big union boss--now retired--called them.

Many union members have been laid off, some have lost their homes, some are having a hard time paying rent and mortgages, yet the unions are spending time and money on abortion. Surely, this time and money would be better spent on union members? After all, it is their money. I believe it is time that this forced union dues business was shutdown and an inquiry held into the misuse of union time and money in Canada. Perhaps the big unionized media brothers and sisters of the trade unions could start doing some investigative journalism, or would that upset the union applecart and disrupt “solidarity forever?”

Is there a “worldwide conspiracy” in the financial system?

Is there a “worldwide conspiracy” in the financial system?
By Stephen J, Gray

In the last number of days there have been numerous articles regarding, “The interest-rate rigging scandal…” This scandal affects just about everything people purchase or invest in. The Guardian U.K. newspaper of June 30, 2012 in an article by Jamie Doward stated:

“In a 28-page statement of facts relating to last week's revelation that Barclays had been fined a total of £290m, the US Department of Justice discloses how a network of traders working on both sides of the Atlantic conspired to influence both the Libor and Euribor interest rates – the rates at which banks lend to each other. It was, in effect, a worldwide conspiracy against the free functioning of the market....” [1]

“Let the marketplace decide,” is the constant slogan of the free marketers. One wonders will these same people advocate that those involved in this “worldwide conspiracy” be brought to justice after the banking “marketplace” rigged the system? Will any of these bankers get jailed? Will any of the finance ministers in the governments of the “nine government agencies” mentioned below be held to account?

“It is believed 16 banks in addition to Barclays are being investigated by the Department of Justice. Inquiries into alleged market manipulation are being carried out in the UK, the US, Japan, Canada, the European Union and Singapore and involve nine government agencies.” [2]

Who were these, “nine government agencies?” Were there politicians involved? Did any of the money printing Central Bankers know about this “global scam?” These are just a few of the many questions still unanswered. The banking fraternity are all connected to each other therefore it is hard not to believe that this “worldwide conspiracy” involves numerous important personages in the monetary system!

The independent U.K. newspaper of July 1, 2012 stated: “The IoS can also reveal that the Bank of England was aware of concerns over Libor five years ago, and discussed it in at least two meetings with representatives of some of the City's biggest financial institutions....Court documents filed in the US accuse Bank of England officials of failing to act on questions about "the integrity of Libor" raised during meetings of the Money Markets Liaison Group as early as 2007. The meeting was chaired by the BoE deputy governor, Paul Tucker, and attended by officials from institutions including at least seven that have since been named in Libor investigations....” [3]

“WHAT IS LIBOR?”
“It stands for the London interbank offer rate and is the interest banks charge to borrow from each other. Banks rely on this money to lend to customers and businesses. Its equivalent in Europe is called Euribor.”

“HOW DOES IT AFFECT ME?”
“The rate banks pay to raise money affects how much they charge on loans and mortgages. An increase in Libor can add hundreds of pounds to households’ annual mortgage repayments or a loan to a small business.”
“This was seen with dramatic effect in the run up to the financial crisis, when Libor soared and lenders raised their rates. It is also used as the benchmark for trillions of pounds in complex financial investments.”… [4] Daily Mail, July 1, 2012.

Trillions of taxpayers dollars were spent bailing out these pin striped suited bankers. Meanwhile, the ordinary person lost their homes, their jobs and their savings, their investments tanked. No bailouts for them but their taxes bailed out the bankers. What will it take before something is done to clean up this rotten, festering, fraudulent financial system? The perpetrators get away with fines; and who will pay their fines? The taxpayers will of course, in extra fees and charges courtesy of the monetary fraudsters running the system. The mafia are amateurs compared to these monetary manipulators. Justice has become a farce as witness none of the big perpetrators of the sub prime mortgage scandal has gone to jail. And none of the latest banking scam artists will either if the system runs true to form. Some of them have been known to advise governments, and so the corruption continues at the highest levels. The money changers are in charge and the taxpaying serfs are available to be looted, used and abused because that is how gangsters operate. Has organized crime become legitimate in the halls of power? Will the people continue to accept their debt and tax slavery to the manipulators of the financial system? Or will there be a day of reckoning?

Did I see a hypocrite on Canada Day?

Did I see a hypocrite on Canada Day?
By Stephen J. Gray

Did I see a hypocrite on Canada Day?
Was he wrapping himself in our flag after preparing to sign our sovereignty away?
His sycophantic followers praised his treacherous dealings
Too stupid or scared to show their real feelings

Blind allegiance was the forte of this political choir
They bent and grovelled to his every desire
Is our great country being signed away in secret?
Are transnational corporations going to benefit?

To hell with the people seems to be the direction of the planners
As they raise their multiple “free trade” banners
Will parliament be laughed at and perhaps ignored?
As our resident hypocrite courts the corporate boards

For make no mistake once sovereignty is lost
It would be at an enormous cost
Europe is but one example where deals were signed
Will traitors rule for their own kind?

Are we going to consent to secret deals?
And let one man do as he feels
Or are we going to strenuously object?
And tell this guy we are not his subjects

If we care about our country
We must demand an end to this effrontery
This guy has to be firmly controlled and told
That we the people don’t want our country betrayed and sold
