The Work of Evil

The Work of Evil
By Stephen J. Gray

“The forces of Evil have begun their decisive offensive, you can feel their pressure, and yet your screens and publications are full of prescribed smiles and raised glasses. What is the joy about?”
Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Evil supplies weapons around the world to dictators who in turn use these weapons on their own people.

Evil bombs other countries and kills innocent civilians and calls this intervention a “humanitarian mission.”

Evil starts a war in another country based on a lie. It calls this lie a mission to destroy “weapons of mass destruction.” A country is reduced to a hell on earth and huge numbers are killed, others maimed and their homes destroyed.

Evil allows war criminals to go unpunished because they are “statesmen” and “leaders” of the “international community.”

Evil perverts the language to camouflage killing.

Evil calls killing children “collateral damage.”

Evil calls dropping bombs, “dropping ordinances.”

Evil calls launching missiles, “acts of bravery.”

Evil makes huge profits off its carnage of killings and bombings in some countries.

Evil then profits from the rebuilding process in the countries it destroyed.

Evil sends young men and women to fight in illegal wars and calls this “bringing democracy.”

Evil consorts with and props up dictators but does not “bring democracy” to the countries of “friendly dictators.”

Evil calls these dictators, “friends” and “allies.”

Evil bails out financial criminals who looted the monetary system.

Evil takes advice from the financial criminals.

Evil calls financial fraud, “doing God’s work.”

Evil orders the arrest of people who protest the robbery of the financial system.

Evil gives over their countries sovereignty to unelected bankers.

Evil assaults peaceful protesters with tear gas and rubber bullets.

Evil spreads propaganda disguised as “news.”

Evil suppresses free speech and promotes the killing of the child in the womb.

Evil calls the killing of the unborn child, “freedom of choice.”

Evil declares it will not allow any discussion of abortion killing.

Evil says: “… we are not opening the abortion debate….”

Evil pretends it supports “human rights” but opposes any rights for the innocent child in the womb.

Evil gives its country’s highest “honour” to an abortionist.

Evil calls this abortionist “a hero.”

Evil imposes “sex education” on young children.

Evil destroys the innocence of these children.

Evil subverts parental authority.

Evil parades naked, and calls it “pride.”

Evil says orgies are okay as long as “no harm” is done.

Evil says criminals are “morally worthy” to vote.

Evil says a pervert’s work has “artistic merit.”

Evil parades of obscenity and nakedness are led by some politicians and police chiefs.

Evil is rampant in positions of power.

Evil has been known to get a prize for “peace.”

Evil thrives on the hypocrisy of the system

The words in the poem below by Josiah Gilbert Holland are surely apt in today’s world.

God, give us men!

GOD, give us men! A time like this demands
Strong minds, great hearts, true faith and ready hands;
Men whom the lust of office does not kill;
Men whom the spoils of office can not buy;
Men who possess opinions and a will;
Men who have honor; men who will not lie;
Men who can stand before a demagogue
And damn his treacherous flatteries without winking!
Tall men, sun-crowned, who live above the fog
In public duty, and in private thinking;
For while the rabble, with their thumb-worn creeds,
Their large professions and their little deeds,
Mingle in selfish strife, lo! Freedom weeps,
Wrong rules the land and waiting Justice sleeps.
Josiah Gilbert Holland
